ABOUT MAISIE

Maisie is extremely demanding, probably because I let her be, but is the ultimate show girl and really makes the most of herself in the ring. Maisie had a slow start to her showing career, it wasn’t that she was an ugly duckling, she held her own in the top 3 of most puppy classes, but she didn’t really stand out!! However once she got into yearling she started to develop and soon blossomed into a beautiful girl.

Maisie got her first RCC at 19 months under Judge Mike Anderson, the following year she took giant leaps from Graduate to Post Grad, Limit and Open, obtaining 3 CC’s in 4 shows under Judges Jim Irvine (Vbos) Elizabeth Dawson and Ann Kilminster (Withybed). Maisie went on to gain a further 4 CC’s in 2007 giving a total of 7 and making her Top FCR Bitch 2007. Her success continued in 2008 and Maisie gained a further 7 CC’s giving her a total of 14 at the tender age of 4 years. Something her Breeder Dom Salt and I never imagined in our wildest dreams!! Maisie has gone on to gain a further 9CC's in 2009 at Manchester, Crufts East of England, National Gundog Paignton and Bournemouth and URC where she also went on to win Best in Show, SKC and Souith Wales where she was awarede BOB and Group 3. Masisie took a break from the ring in October 2009 to have a litter born December 2009 and returned to the ring in July where she gained the CC at her first show, East of England.

Maisie is the only Champion bitch to have ever gained her Shooting Dog Certificate (SDC) A grade, hopefully there will be more in the future.

We would like to thank everyone that has thought so highly of Maisie, and special thanks to all at Levelmoor for allowing us to have our special girl, supporting us through the good and the bad and believing in us.
