Christie
Woodsage Lime Bar
Christie was a present for my mum’s 50th Birthday. Mum had enjoyed working Bob so much that she wanted a puppy from working stock. Christie and mum bonded straight away and he was her dog. Christie’s training started off reasonably well, although like Bob he struggled to wait his turn!!, sadly the Foot and Mouth outbreak in the UK interrupted his training as all the training grounds and many of the open spaces were off limits.
Christie aged 10
When mum died Christie really struggled, of the three he grieved the most and found it difficult to bond with anyone else. Eventually after twelve months of so he decided he could be dad’s dog and developed the same bond that he had had with mum.
Maisie, Jacob and Chrisite 2006
Christie is the top dog in our house, he lets Maisie get away with most things, but always has the last word!! We never really got to grips with his training, and he is an absolute pet and dad’s most loyal companion (well one of the 4 had to choose him!!)
Christie is now 12 years old, although you wouldn’t know it!!
